諸位Delaware Valley的鄉親：

很高興告訴大家，我們Delaware Valley的鄉親前輩名政論家盧主義先生(筆名李天福)最近出版了一本書，書名叫”America's Security and Taiwan's Freedom”。他把多年來最精闢的演講及發表在報章雜誌上最精華的論文蒐集在這本書內，他闡述台灣主權獨立的法理根據，並且論述台灣的戰略地位及台灣的民主自由與美國本身的安全是息息相關的，這本書堪稱經典之作。University of Pennsylvania國際關係系的教授Professor Arthur Waldron 寫了如下的書評:” Jay Loo has been since the 1950s one of the deepest thinkers about the future of Taiwan as well as powerful advocates of democracy and self-determination for the island. His writings, collected in this volume, provide the essential parallel narrative to the story of recent America-Chinese relations. For anyone who cares about the future of democracy in the world, this is indispensable reading.“

為慶祝盧先生的新書，我們決定為他開一個 ”新書發表會”，藉此請他更深入的闡述出版這本書的意義及感想，並使我們有機會聽聽他出書的很多故事。為使Delaware Valley的同鄉方便參加，我們時間選在十月二日(星期六)下午兩點開始，地點選在Chinatown醉仙樓。Delaware Valley三地的台灣同鄉實在很少有機會大家在一起，藉此新書發表會，也讓我們大家有機會敦睦鄉誼，同時可以去Chinatown享享口福，實在是一舉數得，希望同鄉們踴躍參加。
